One happy family. One new home. Posted by Tribe Toyota, 11 July 2010 |
Hello to everyone! As you may have noticed, things look rather different
around here. For starters, we’ve merged Tribe Toyota and Toyota Owner's
Journal (TOJ) under one roof for a more integrated Toyota ownership
experience online. We’ve also got a new logo that sums up what the new
Tribe Toyota is about (see item 1).
Read on as we point out some of the things that are new or different:

 |
New Tribe Toyota logo |
We’ve bid farewell to the feather logo, which served us faithfully for a good few years. What represented a “tribe” in the more literal sense has now been replaced by a logo that illustrates the partnership between Toyota and our customers via the connection between the letters “r” and “i". And that’s what we envision this site to be: a place where connections are made between Toyota and our community of Toyota owners, as well as between members themselves. |

Online service booking
That’s right, you can now book your service appointment online! Besides receiving reminders of when your service is due, members can book a date and time slot from our 7 participating service centres. Klang Valley folks will be amongst the first to benefit from this service, but we hope to expand it nationwide in the near future.

Tribe Talk
The forums section has been renamed to Tribe Talk. It’s the place to meet new friends, get tips, and exchange opinions. We’ve also opened it for public viewing.

Goodbye, Interest Groups
We’ve decided to forget the old Interest Groups section. Over the years, we learned that it’s hard to restrict members to silo interests or hobbies. Use Tribe Talk to have conversations centered around any special interests you may have.
