| Our Road Survival Skills workshop has always been one of the most popular on our event calendar - and for good reason. Described by past participants as "informative" and an "eye-opener" (click here for reviews) this workshop instills knowledge on road safety and security in an entertaining and engaging way. If you live in or near Kuching, this is your chance to experience Road Survival Skills and judge for yourself! |
The force behind the workshop's popularity is its facilitator, Captain K. Bala. He is the founder of the Malaysian Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association, and Road Safety Marshall Club. He'll be talking about a variety of topics paramount to personal safety while on the road. For example, what would your first reaction be if you found yourself trapped in a vehicle that's on fire? Captain K. Bala will walk you through the process so you'll know how to calm your nerves if that should ever happen to you, or a loved one (so please do bring a friend or loved one along to share in the experience). |
| You'll also learn to spot road hazards and be schooled on some of the bad driving habits that could lead to fatal accidents. Captain K. Bala will also teach you how to recognise the signs of wear and tear on your tires - an often neglected part of your car. You'll also be gifted with the LifeHammer, a device that could save lives! |
