wat tsfatt said is true.....best solution is to get an agent you are familiar with. However if thats not an option, perhaps you will find HLA as an alternative. Thus far my personal experience with HLA is good.
As long as the insurer allow "Agreed Value", I will buy from them..
Oh yes, many advices me to avoid Kurnia for whatever reason.. I didn't ask..
All this while I'm using MNI which now called ETIQA.. I use them because they have this thing called NCB protector... no matter how u claim, your NCB is protected.. Now this feature is removed because Bank Negara ban it.
A recent unpleasant claim experience has made me change my mind...
I have just renewed auto insurance for the 4th time for my 2005 Avanza. I was thinking to insure about RM38k max but amazingly I was offer RM43k \"Agreed Value\" for a car which I have bought 4 years ago for RM58k.
That's 15k in depreciation for 4 years, working out to about RM3.75k per year. What a great value this mini MPV offered! Still, that's about RM10.30 a day..
By the way, while I was looking for an insurance thread to post this, I found these 2 other interesting threads..
